New Delhi: Former Congress president and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday and sought help for the people affected by the floods in Kerala. PM Modi has assured them of all possible help. Rahul's Wayanad MP office tweeted, "Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has spoken to Prime Minister Modi seeking all possible help for the people seriously affected by floods and landslides in the state, especially Wayanad. The tweet further stated, "The Prime Minister has assured to provide all necessary support to mitigate the effects of the disaster. Floods ravaged Kerala, water entered Kochi airport, closed educational institutions. The Wayanad MP on Thursday also demanded the assistance of flood-affected people in his parliamentary constituency and other parts of the state from Kerala Chief Minister P. Vijayan. In order to prevent the rescue work in Kerala, Rahul also postponed his visit to Wayanad.
